Modern marketing: how to get your business seen online

Do you have a website that doesnt appear on the first page of Google search results?

Did you know that 75% of people searching on Google won't click beyond the first page of search results. So if your website isn't ranking on the first page of Google then you'll be missing out on a huge number of potential customers.

There are a number of factors to consider for a small business to get seen on Google; headings, keywords, blog posts, links and external PR.

If you didnt consider appearing in Google when you inititally designed your website then that's something you may need to revisit to ensure the structure of your site is optimised for search engines.

Did you include relevant keywords and do you research these and keep them up to date to ensure your website is aligned to what your customers are searching for?

Are you regularly updating your website with blog posts with current content which your customers will be searching for?

Have you linked your website to other reputable sites and created any PR stories that could feature on local news sites?

All of the items mentioned above contribute to moving up your position in Google and if you have a plan which encompasses all of this then you will be appearing on page 1 in no time at all.
